BREAKING: Nigerian Filling Stations Reduce Fuel Price [SEE NEW PRICE]
Nigerian filling stations have reduced their Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, pump prices days after Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, filling stations cut their price to N1,325 per litre.
A market survey by Newsmen on Sunday showed that AA Rano, Sharon, Shema and other filling stations had reduced their fuel prices to N1,410 from N1,420 per litre.
This means that the filling stations reduced their fuel pump prices by only N10 per litre. The new prices have been implemented at AA Rano, Sharon and Shema filling stations in Abuja and its environs.
Recall that last week, NNPCL reduced its fuel price by between N45 and N80 per litre to N1,325 per litre, the cheapest in Abuja and its environs.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that MRS, Ranoil, Empire, Mobil and AP Ardova filling stations dispense fuel at between N1,395 and N1,420 per litre in Abuja.
MRS filling stations, like other outlets, were yet to implement any downward price review as of the time of filing this report, despite Dangote Refinery’s latest price reduction.
Newsmen reports that both Brent and West Texas Intermediate, WTI, crude oil benchmarks were trading below $100 per barrel on Sunday evening.
