NEWS ALERT!!! Aisha Yesufu Says Tinubu Has Already Lost 2027 Presidential Election
Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu has already lost the 2027 presidential election.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Yesufu, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made the remarks while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday.
Yesufu explained that Tinubu is looking for state governors to make him appear as if he has power.
She cited how the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost power despite having over 20 governors.
She said, “Bola Tinubu has already lost; that’s why he is looking for governors that he’d put together to have an illusion of power.
“Once upon a time, I think PDP had 20-something governors; it didn’t stop them from losing the election when it was time for them to lose.
“The fact that they don’t have the people, you could see it when they were doing the registration, and nobody was interested, nobody cared to visit their website. But you can see with the ADC the kind of passion it has gathered.”
Meanwhile, Yesufu recently accused Channels Television of misrepresenting her words following an interview with the station.
Yesufu, in a post via her 𝕏 account on Monday, stated that at no time did she mention during the interview that the ADC lost the 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Election.
TGM understands that Channels had shared her interview on their Youtube page with the title, ‘Why ADC Lost The FCT By-elections – Aisha Yesufu’ however, she disagreed with the title and insisted that what she consistently pointed out during the interview was how the All Progressives Congress (APC) was able to manipulate and rig the election because Abuja residents did not come out enmasse as they usually would during General election.
She also added that, compared to previous FCT Council elections since she came to Abuja, the ADC was able to get more residents interested and to come out in this year’s polls.
The activist, therefore, called on Channels TV to correct the title to represent the interview she did with the channel
