HARRY MAGUIRE and Cole Palmer have been sensationally AXED from England’s World Cup squad.

Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel will announce his 26-man Three Lions selection tomorrow for the summer’s tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

But the bad news leaked early for a host of high-profile stars who will NOT be on the plane.

Manchester United star Maguire was the first big name to be left out.

And the devastated centre-half quickly posted on social media, admitting he was “shocked and gutted” by the bombshell decision after a strong end to the domestic campaign under Michael Carrick.

Despite his snub, Maguire has still been able to show his class and wish the selected players luck.

Maguire wrote: “I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had.

“I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.

“I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years.

“I wish the players, all the best this summer

Maguire’s mother Zoe did not take the news as well.

Taking to X, she posted: “Absolutely disgusted.”
