She wrote,“This is now a case of kidnapping. Holding my brother down till I return is diabolical! What do I call this now—love or obsession? You’ve always said I’m the most useless wife, then why do you need that useless wife back? Free my brother! No matter what he did, his family should be able to see him. Nigeria Police, free Sammy West!”
Amid the crisis, a video surfaced online showing Rita Daniels and Jude Ojegwu together in Abuja, reportedly in search of their detained son. The video has since sparked widespread reactions, as the two parents, once considered sworn enemies, were seen united for the first time in years.

On Thursday morning, Regina expressed gratitude for her parents’ reunion, describing it as a moment of divine intervention.
She wrote, “Who would have thought that sworn enemies would reunite with no ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness?
Sammy’s detainment is taking too long, but we’ll get him out or I’ll march there myself and create a storm since they want me! My father is a lawyer, one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened. My mother? She’s a powerhouse. They’d do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad. This is all I ever wanted .”
Regina Daniels, who married Ned Nwoko in 2019, recently revealed on Instagram that she is no longer interested in continuing the marriage, emphasising that she married “for love, not influence.” She also disclosed plans to seek full custody of her two children, who are currently under the care of the senator.
