According to him, he doesn’t let people in on his genotype so they won’t think he is sick and feel pity for him.
The golden boy however revealed this during a conversation wih fellow housemates Vee and Dorathy. “My genotype is SC”, with Dorathy replying him jokingly “Guess that’s why yor’re slim”.
Sickle cell disease is a group of blood disorders typically inherited from a person’s parents. It is also group of disorders that cause red blood cells to become misshapen and break down.
Vee replied: “But have I ever asked you if you’re sick?”, Laycon told her, “No, because you get sense”.
