BREAKING: Kylian Mbappe Scores Brace As Real Madrid Defeat Barcelona At Camp Nou
Kylian Mbappé’s brace hands Barcelona their first La Liga defeat of the season.
Real Madrid have finally beaten Barcelona in El Clásico, taking their all-time competitive head-to-head wins to 106 against Barça’s 105
Kylian Mbappé struck twice, including a dramatic 87th-minute winner, as Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou on Sunday evening.
The French superstar opened the scoring in the 41st minute when a cross from Yan Diomande deflected off him and into the net following a failed clearance by Gerard Martín.
Barcelona fought back after the break, with Raphinha equalising in the 61st minute after a clever pass from Pedri.
The hosts nearly completed the turnaround, but Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin produced a brilliant reflex save to deny Gerard Martín.
With the match heading towards a draw, Mbappé struck again in the 87th minute, finishing a sweeping Madrid attack to silence the home crowd and secure all three points.
The defeat ended Barcelona’s perfect start to the La Liga season and handed Real Madrid a massive victory in the title race.
