Rite Foods Limited has reinforced its position as a leading force in Nigeria’s food and beverage industry, clinching two major honours at the 2026 Marketing Edge Awards.
The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, was named Outstanding FMCG Brand Entrepreneur of the Year, while Rite Foods Limited received the Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year award.
The awards were presented at a ceremony organised by Marketing Edge, a leading publication in Nigeria’s brand and marketing communications industry, held in Lagos on Friday, 25 September 2026. The event brought together leading professionals, business executives and stakeholders across Nigeria’s marketing, advertising and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
The double recognition reflects Rite Foods’ focus on innovation, quality and consumer-centricity, as well as its growing contribution to Nigeria’s FMCG landscape through the development of locally manufactured brands with strong market appeal.
Commenting on the recognition, Adegunwa attributed the honours to the collective efforts of the company’s employees and its continued commitment to innovation, quality and value creation.
He noted that the recognition reflects Rite Foods’ contribution to the growth of the FMCG sector through initiatives that drive innovation, strengthen brand equity and create impactful connections with consumers.
According to him, the company’s approach to product development and consumer engagement has enabled its brands to compete effectively in an increasingly dynamic market.
Speaking on the corporate recognition, the Head, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Rite Foods Limited, Mr. Ekuma Eze, described the award as a reflection of the company’s commitment to delivering quality products that meet consumers’ changing preferences.
Eze added that the company’s commitment extends beyond product quality to include research and development, consumer-centric innovation, environmental sustainability, value creation and the adoption of technology across its operations.

Rite Foods recently expanded its portfolio with the launch of LIDA Malt, further strengthening its presence in Nigeria’s beverage market. Its portfolio also includes 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Premium Drinking Water, five variants of Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, Rite Spicy Beef Sausage, Bigi Beef Sausage and Bigi Flex Sausage.
The company’s commitment to responsible business and sustainable manufacturing has also continued to earn industry recognition. In 2026, Rite Foods was honoured at the National Sustainability Achievements Awards for its contributions to sustainable manufacturing, product innovation, environmental stewardship and responsible corporate leadership.
The recognition followed Adegunwa’s Industrialist of the Year 2025 honour by Vanguard Media Limited, which recognised his leadership, entrepreneurial vision and contribution to the FMCG sector.
The latest double recognition at the Marketing Edge Awards further highlights Rite Foods’ continued investment in people, products, innovation and sustainable business practices, as the company works to deepen its impact in Nigeria’s food and beverage industry.
