ITS OFFICIAL!!! Nigerian Army Begins Recruitment For 92 Regular Recruits Intake
The Nigerian Army has commenced online registration for recruitment into the 92 Regular Recruits Intake for Tradesmen and women as well as Non-Tradesmen and women.
According to a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, Ogun State, Mr Dolamu Idowu-Agida, the recruitment exercise commenced on Wednesday, September 9, and will close on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
The statement said application forms could be obtained online free of charge through the Nigerian Army recruitment portal, while all applications would be screened online before qualified applicants are shortlisted.
It stated that applicants must be single, Nigerian citizens by birth and possess valid National Identification Numbers (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) slips.
Applicants must also be medically, physically and psychologically fit, free from criminal convictions and aged between 18 and 22 years for Non-Tradesmen and women, and 18 to 26 years for Tradesmen and women.
The required minimum height is 1.68 metres for male applicants and 1.65 metres for female applicants.
The statement added that applicants must possess at least four passes in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS at not more than two sittings.
For Tradesmen and women, applicants are required to possess relevant Trade Test or City and Guild certificates.
It further stated that shortlisted candidates from the online screening would be required to participate in a physical screening exercise at the State Recruitment Centre, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta.
The physical screening exercise is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, November 17, to Tuesday, December 1, 2026.
The Army urged prospective applicants to complete their applications through the official recruitment channel and warned that the application process is free of charge.
