Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued a stern warning to the United States, declaring that Tehran and its regional allies would teach Washington “unforgettable lessons” if American military operations against Iran continue.
The warning comes amid a sharp escalation in hostilities between the two longtime adversaries following the collapse of a recent ceasefire, raising fears of a wider conflict that could engulf the Middle East.

In a statement released on Saturday, Khamenei accused the United States of repeatedly violating agreements reached with Tehran, arguing that Washington had demonstrated it could not be trusted to honour diplomatic commitments. The latest remarks followed renewed U.S. airstrikes targeting Iranian military installations after Iran was accused of launching missile and drone attacks that killed two American service members stationed at a U.S. military facility in Jordan. Washington said the strikes were aimed at degrading Iran’s military capabilities and deterring further attacks on U.S. personnel in the region.
