Prominent Nigerian journalist and broadcaster, Oseni Rufai, has criticised Senator Remi Tinubu, wife of Bola Tinubu, over her recent remarks encouraging Nigerians to explore small-scale businesses such as akara, kulikuli and roasted corn as ways of improving their livelihoods.
Rufai, in a post shared on his official X handle, questioned the suggestion, arguing that if akara business is truly profitable, those promoting it should demonstrate its viability by engaging in it themselves.
