Amid Marriage Rumours, Bambam Shuns Teddy A On Father’s Day, Celebrates Her Dad
Nigerian actress Bambam has stirred fresh reactions online after celebrating only her father on Father’s Day while pointedly leaving out her husband, Teddy A, amid ongoing rumours about trouble in their marriage.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Bambam celebrated her dad with warm words, describing him as the “only daddy” she has in the world.
The actress praised him for his love, sacrifices, discipline and support, while also highlighting the values she said he passed down to her over the years.
“Happy Father’s Day, My Daddy. The only daddy I have in the whole world,” she wrote.
BamBam thanked him for being “such a great, loving, and supportive father,” saying his guidance, strength and unwavering belief in her had shaped the woman she has become.
The actress also used the tribute to reflect on one quality she deeply admires in him, his willingness to take responsibility when he is wrong.
“One of the things I admire most about you is your integrity. No matter the situation, when you are wrong or have made a mistake, you take responsibility, own it, and choose peace over pride,” she wrote, adding that the trait had taught her “so much about character and strength.”
While the post appeared to be a heartfelt celebration of her father, many social media users quickly noticed her husband and father of her children, Teddy A was missing from the tribute.
The omission has further fueled the speculation that the celebrity couple may be dealing with private issues behind the scenes.
Rumours about tension in their marriage have been swirling for months.
Earlier this year, fans noticed that Bambam and Teddy A had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Teddy A also deleted Bambam’s photos from his page, while the actress later dropped his surname from her public profile, moves that further intensified breakup speculation.
Neither of them has publicly confirmed or denied reports of a split.
The silence has also been especially noticeable in recent family moments.
In March, Bambam celebrated their daughter’s birthday by sharing a video of herself and the children during a visit to an orphanage, but Teddy A was absent from the post.
Around the same period, Teddy A also shared photos of his mother and daughters, describing March as being for the women in his life, another post that drew attention because of Bambam’s absence.
Bambam and Teddy A’s relationship first captured public attention during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija, where their romance began in the house.
The pair later got married in 2019, first with a traditional wedding in Nigeria before holding their white wedding in Dubai, and they have since welcomed two daughters together.
For now, neither Bambam nor Teddy A has addressed the latest round of reactions sparked by her Father’s Day post.
