A horrific incident has thrown the community of Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, into deep mourning and outrage following the suspected murder of a young woman named Chinasa.

The victim was allegedly killed and buried in a shallow grave by her boyfriend, Ife, a local bricklayer, after she reportedly turned down his marriage proposal.

Grim Discovery and Allegations

According to reports filtering out of the community, Chinasa went missing after a disagreement with her partner, Ife, over the future of their relationship. Sources within the neighborhood allege that the suspect became violent upon receiving a negative response to his proposal.

In a desperate bid to cover up the crime, the suspect is believed to have buried her remains in a shallow grave within the locality before the gruesome discovery was made.

Family Demands Urgent Justice

The heartbroken family of the deceased has thrown their weight behind a fierce public campaign demanding the immediate arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator.
