BREAKING: Atiku Picks Amaechi As Running Mate For 2027 Presidential Elections
The Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has picked former Rivers State Governor and ex-Transportation Minister, Chibuike Amaechi, as his running mate.
The development was confirmed on Saturday by the immediate past Chairman of the party in Rivers State, Leader Sampson.
When asked if Amaechi has accepted the Vice Presidential role, Mr Leader Sampson simply said, “Yes.
Newasmen recalls that Amaechi contested for the ADC presidential primary election but lost to the former vice president.
He vehemently rejected the outcome of the primary election, which some aggrieved party members alleged was rigged in favour of Atiku.
