Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted he will be the “biggest ever” supporter of Bournemouth when they host Manchester City on Tuesday night, with the Premier League title within touching distance.

Arteta did not hide where his loyalties would lie.
“The biggest ever!” Arteta replied when asked if he would be rooting for the Cherries.
“For Andoni, and all the players and all the supporters of Bournemouth, I think we are all [Bournemouth fans] because we know what it means if they get a result.”
Bournemouth are managed by Arteta’s childhood friend Andoni Iraola and arrives in form, unbeaten in 16 matches and chasing European football for next season.
Arsenal’s final fixture is away to Crystal Palace, but they may not need it to seal the crown. Failure by Pep Guardiola’s side to record maximum points on the south coast would spark celebrations in north London.
Since the start of the 2022-23 campaign, they have spent 556 nights on top of the table, more than 200 ahead of any rival, with Liverpool the closest on 355.
