BREAKING: APC Releases List Of 47 Senatorial Aspirants Disqualified From Primaries [FULL LIST]

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of 47 senatorial aspirants who were not cleared to participate in the party’s Senate primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The list was contained in a statement issued on Monday by Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary following the conclusion of the screening exercise conducted by the APC screening committees.

According to the statement, the screening exercise was carried out in line with the party’s established procedures and guidelines.

Among the notable aspirants not cleared is former senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce.

Also affected from the district is Benson Agadaga.

Rivers West Senatorial District recorded the highest number of aspirants not cleared, including Oyukaye Flag Amachree, Tamunobaabo Wemike Danagogo, Tein Jack-Rich, and Ipalibo Banigo.

Several aspirants from Zamfara State were also affected across the Central, North and West senatorial districts.

The APC, however, did not disclose reasons why the affected aspirants were not cleared.

The party said aspirants who successfully passed the screening process would proceed to participate in the party’s senatorial primaries ahead of the 2027 elections.
