BREAKING: Ooni Of Ife Welcomes Twin Princes With His Wife
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the birth of twin princes with his wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the monarch disclosed this in a post on his official Facebook page on Friday, describing the birth as a blessing to the Royal House of Oduduwa.
Ooni said both the mother and the children were in good health.
The statement reads, “To God be all the glory and adoration for His wondrous works and abundant blessings once again!
“Warmest congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and to Olori Mariam Ajibola on the joyous arrival of twin princes to the royal throne of Oduduwa today.
“We give thanks to Almighty God as both mother and children are in good health.”
The birth comes years after the monarch’s separation from Olori Naomi.
The Ooni later married six wives within three months in 2022, including Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Tobiloba Philips, Ashley Adegoke, Ronke Ademiluyi and Temitope Adesegun.
While marking his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary, the monarch said his marriages were influenced by the traditional heritage of Ile-Ife.
In other news, Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo, has assured the wife of late actor, Alexx Ekubo, that she will not be left alone following the actor’s death.
TGM reports that the actress shared on Instagram that she joined close friends and colleagues to visit Alexx’s home, where they spent time with his wife and remembered moments they shared with him during his lifetime.
According to her, the atmosphere during the visit was emotional as people moved from tears to laughter while talking about the late actor’s personality, memories and the impact he had on those around him.
