Watch Moment Suspected Fulani Terrorists Reportedly Invade Federal University of Technology Owerri [VIDEO]
There was panic on Wednesday night following reports and viral videos claiming that suspected Fulani terrorists invaded the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), in Imo State.
In the footage currently circulating online, students and residents are seen reacting in fear of the alleged security breach within the university environment.
According to eyewitnesses, an attack occurred around 10pm along the Ihiagwa–Eziobodo route, where a man and his son were allegedly assaulted by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The man escaped, while his son reportedly sustained a machete wound.
The incident has caused panic among FUTO students in Eziobodo, with some reportedly moving out of the area. Security operatives have advised residents to remain vigilant and secure their homes.
