How Cristiano Ronaldo Reacted To Diogo Jota Death

Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed tremendous grief for the tragic loss of his national teammate, Diogo Jota, and Jota’s younger brother, André Silva, following a catastrophic vehicle accident in Spain.

In an emotional letter released on Thursday via Instagram, Ronaldo pondered on the terrible nature of the loss, recalling recent moments they spent together.

“Doesn’t make any sense. Just now we were together in the national team; just now you were married,” Ronaldo wrote.

He sent his condolences to the mourning family, saying, “To your family, wife, and children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world. I know you’ll always be with them.”

Ronaldo’s message ended with a sorrowful farewell: “R.I.P. Diogo and Andre.” “We’ll all miss you.”

The deaths of Jota, 28, and André, 25, have triggered an outpouring of grief around the football world, with tributes coming in from clubs, fans, and teammates.
