INSANITY? Watch Moment Woman Tears Her Husband’s International Passport At Lagos Airport [VIDEO]–The genius Media Nigeria reports that there was mild drama at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport yesterday when a woman tore her husband’s international passport as they arrived Nigeria for reasons yet unknown.
In a video seen by TGM, the woman was seen expressing anger and telling her husband that he is in Nigeria already and that he should ‘sleep’ there if he wants to.
The visibly angry woman withdrew two kids, who could be their children, from the man while he looked on.
The Nigeria Immigration service has also responded to this surprising event, stating that they will investigate the matter.
‘’ The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has launched formal investigation, following the circulation of a video on social media, showing a female traveler destroying a Nigerian Standard Passport at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. ‘’
‘’The individual involved has been identified as Mrs. Favour Igiebor, holding passport number A11990869. In a statement, Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kenneth Udo says the Comptroller General of Immigration has directed that Mrs. Favour Igiebor be invited for further investigation.’’
‘’ If the allegations are substantiated, the statement notes, that her action would constitute a breach of Section 10(b) of the Immigration Act 2015 (as amended), with corresponding penalties outlined under Section 10(h) of the same Act.’’
