NNPC Reveal Reason Why Fuel Scarcity Persisted—The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) on Thursday gave reason for persistent fuel scarcity in some parts of the country.

NNPCL, in a statement issued by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, said the tightness in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) was as a result of logistics issues.

The company said the issues had been resolved.

It also reiterated that the prices of petroleum products are not changing.

NNPCL urged Nigerians to avoid panic buying as there is a sufficiency of products in the country.

The statement read in part: “NNPC Ltd Says Cause of Tightness in Fuel Supply Resolved

“It urges Nigerians to avoid panic buying as there is a sufficiency of products in the country.”
