BREAKING: #NLC Vows To Embark On Fresh Indefinite Strike Over N720 Per Litre For Petrol—The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Monday, vowed to begin a total, comprehensive, and indefinite nationwide shutdown of the country if there is another increment in petrol pump price from the existing 617 naira.

Reports say on Sunday, oil marketers hinted that the cost of petrol would rise to between N680/lite and N720/litre in the coming weeks should the dollar continue to trade from N910 to N950 at the parallel market.

The NLC had described the existing 617 pump price as “illegal.”

It should be recalled that the NLC on Thursday, August 4, 2023, suspended a proposed indefinite strike after meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
