BREAKING: Suspended CBN Gov #Emefiele In Court, Takes Plea [DETAILS]—Suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr Godwin Emefiele has pleaded not guilty to the charge of illegal possession of fireams and ammunition in his first appearance in court since he was arrested more than a month ago.
The Genius media Nigeria reports that Emefiele made the plea when he appeared before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

The appearance in court was the first time that Emefiele was seen in public since he was suspended and then arrested while in Lagos on June 10, 2023, two weeks after President Bola Tinubu was inaugurated.
