The Genius Media Nigeria reports that news of Whitney Desola Adeniran, a 12-year-old student at Chrisland who passed away during her school in inter-house sports programme at Agege Stadium dominated discuss across cyberspace weeks back giving her controversial death.
The young Whitney’s death was a touching story, especially because of the controversies surrounding it and the undisputable fact that Chrisland school is gradually being reputed for negative reviews giving series of incidents involving either the teachers or students of the school.
In a recent revelation, Adeniran’s mom revealed the autopsy result of her daughter which seemed to confirm the earlier rumour that she was electrocuted.
On Wednesday, she announced it in an Instagram live broadcast.
In the video, she said, “I want to thank everyone for your support, your calls and messages have helped us go through this very difficult period.
“The autopsy result is out and Desola was electrocuted. My daughter died of electrocution. I have been subjected to trauma for the past two weeks. Tomorrow will make it three weeks my baby died. The school made me think I was crazy they started pushing the narrative of she was sick; she was sickly.
“People insulted me and my family. My child was electrocuted to death. I told the school I don’t want trouble. All I want is answers.”
It would be recalled that following the news of the shocking death of 12-year-old, Lagos State Government had shut the school ever since and ordered a corona’s inquest immediately.
Although there are indications that Governor Sanwo-Olu had since re-opened Chrisland School branches across the State.
