Hazard announced his retirement from Belgium national team on Wednesday at the age of 31, following their elimination from the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar a few days ago.
The Real Madrid star, in a post via his Instagram account, said, “I have decided to put an end to my international career.”
Responding to Hazard’s post, Chelsea wrote on Instagram, “One of the all-time Belgian greats!”
On his part, De Bruyne said the former Chelsea star will be missed.
De Bruyne wrote on Twitter, “What a journey it has been. Congratulations Capi. You’ll be missed!”
