BREAKING: Cristiano #Ronaldo‘s Manchester United Career Is Over—Jermaine Jenas has insisted Manchester United ‘cannot’ ever play Cristiano Ronaldo again after his bombshell interview criticising the club.
The 37-year-old forward accused United of ‘betraying’ him and said he does not ‘respect’ manager Erik ten Hag in a hugely controversial tell-all interview with Piers Morgan on Sunday night.
And Jenas stated on Match of the Day Two that Ronaldo’s outburst now means his career at Old Trafford is over as the veteran seeks a January move away and the club deal with the fallout – but added the club has ‘mismanaged’ the wantaway star.
He said: ‘First of all, I’m totally baffled and confused as to why he’s done this interview. I think it leads you to just how Cristiano Ronaldo is obviously feeling right now and how he’s felt all season.
‘We’ve seen nothing but, almost petulance, throughout the whole year. I think the whole situation has been mismanaged by the club.
‘It enables (boss Erik ten Hag) to elevate his position at the football club when he treats Cristiano a certain way. It enables (him) to get the dressing room to fall in line. At the same time, Ronaldo has to behave in line with how the rest of the team does.

And pundit Jenas said that United manager Erik ten Hag ‘cannot’ play the forward, 37, again
‘He can’t play him now. He can’t be involved in the team now.’
Fellow pundit Jermain Defoe added: ‘Maybe his ego is dented a little bit. He’s not ever been in this situation before. He has to be (done at United now).’
United beat Fulham 2-1 on Sunday thanks to a stoppage-time winner from 18-year-old winger Alejandro Garnacho, widely seen as the long-term successor to Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
