BREAKING: Kemi Olunloyo Advices #NDLEA To Conduct Drug Test On Universities Students - #ASUU

BREAKING: Kemi Olunloyo Advices #NDLEA To Conduct Drug Test On Universities Students – #ASUU—-The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Popular Nigerian journalist, activist and blogger, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo has advised Nigeria Drug law Enforcement Agency on the need to conduct drug test on all universities students upon resumption back to school after the long Asuu Strike that has hindered all academic activities in various tertiary institutions across the country.

This is coming after The National Industrial Court ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), to call off the ongoing Strike.

She made this she made known in a recent post via her twitter page, she wrote

“Once the ASUU strike is called off, I recommend the @ndlea_nigeria
to conduct DRUG TESTS on every tertiary student incoming or returning. There has been massive drug use while students were idle. It could psychologically affect the non drug users on campus”

Recall, this online had reported that the National Industrial Court ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), to call off the ongoing Seven month Strike.

The university lecturers have been on strike since February 14 to press home the demand for improved funding for universities, a review of salaries for lecturers, among other issues.

Several meetings between ASUU and the federal government have ended in a deadlock.

Consequently, the federal government went to court to challenge the strike.

The government through its counsel, James Igwe prayed the court for an interlocutory injunction restraining ASUU from taking further steps as regards the strike, pending the determination of the substantive suit.
