Reason Why #EFL Postponed Fixtures After Queen Elizabeth II’s Death—-The EFL has postponed two fixtures that were to be played on Friday, as a mark of respect following the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II.

Burnley were scheduled to face Norwich City in the Championship, while Tranmere Rovers were to welcome Stockport County in League Two.

However, both games will now be rescheduled.

It added that the rest of this weekend’s fixtures will be decided on “following a review of the official mourning guidance, in addition to further consultation with DCMS and other sports on Friday morning.”

The Premier League is yet to officially confirm if this weekend’s fixtures will go on as scheduled.
