Lagos Lawmaker, Mosunmola Sangodara In Certificate Forgery Scandal [SEE FULL DOCUMENTS]—-It is almost becoming a permanent pattern in the Nigerian political space today that we keep witnessing politicians getting involved in the issue of certificate forgery, identity and fraudulent misrepresentation and many more.
The ugly trend continues to be on a constant rise despite concerted effort by the authorities to abate this unpleasant drift by disqualifying and disgracing exposed offenders out of office. Yet, this has not stop many from parading fake credentials to get into political offices.
This is why, many who are knowledgeable about the educational history of a former PDP Lagos lawmaker, who crossed to the rulling party, Honourable Mosunmola Sangodara, are crying foul about the discovery that she submitted fake credentials for election purpose.
In her form she submitted to INEC, it was discovered that the date she graduated from the higher school she attended does not tally with the date she got exemption letter not to participate in the mandatory NYSC programme.
Aside that, the honourable who is representing Surulere Constituency 2 has her name missing on the list of the graduating students for the year she claimed she left the school.
According to further findings, her certificate was taken to the school and the authority declared that it did not issue such and pronounced it as fake.
It is believed that, stringent measures should be taken against offenders like the female lawmaker so as to serve as deterrent to some others who may like to thread that path .
Meanwhile, many believe the decision of the system to deliberately look at such unscrupulous activities with
closed eyes often encourage some to think they can get away with it.
