The Genius Media Nigeria gathered that Popular Nollywood actor, Femi Branch has been picked as the running mate to the governorship candidate of the National Rescue Misson (NRM) in Ogun State, Dr. Tofunmi Ogunrobi.
The actor confirmed the development in a statement posted on his Instagram page on Saturday.
In the statement issued by the Dr. Tofunmi Ogunrobi Campaign Organisation (TOCO), the NRM flagbearer said he chose Branch because the actor would add value to his candidacy, considering the latter’s vocal stance against bad governance and social injustice.
