BREAKING: Anxiety As #ASUU Extends Strike By 8 Weeks—The Genius Media Nigeria reports that The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its strike by two months.
ASUU executives took the decision after meeting on Sunday evening.
This announcement follows the one month warning strike which expired today Monday, 14, March 2022.
According to Professor Abdulkadir Muhammad Danbazau, an official with ASUU, the latest decision to extend the strike is to allow the union and the federal government reach an agreement in other to avoid a future strike.
He said two months is enough for the apex government to do the right thing on the matter.
