In the late hours of yesterday, information available from the Nigerian football federation (NFF) had it that the super eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has been sacked in what seems to be a surprising development to Nigerians.
The NFF President, Amaju Pinnick in an interview today made it known that Rohr was sacked to avoid disaster from happening in Nigerian football. He mentioned that there has been gross indiscipline in the Super Eagles team for some time and considering the fact that we have African Cup Of Nations ahead, there was a need to get him off the job.
Meanwhile, popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele who is known for his prophecies on every sector of the society had given several warnings about the position of Rohr as a Nigerian coach. He had said countless times that he doesn’t see anything good coming out of it.
One of the most recent warnings was in 2020 when he categorically stated that Gernot Rohr will not make Nigeria proud in the AFCON games though he maintained that the team will qualify.
This statement by the popular prophet definitely has a strong influence on the sack of Gernot Rohr considering the fact that Primate Ayodele’s prophecies give directions because they are divinely received by the man of God.
Also, NFF has associated with Primate Ayodele severally. The team has been to his church before to hold a thanksgiving service after his prophecy that they will qualify for the world cup came to pass some years ago.
Furthermore, one of the reasons NFF listen to him is because of the accuracy in his prophecies. As unpredicted as football is, whenever Primate Ayodele says a particular team will win, it must definitely happen. He even goes as far as predicting the scores of the game. We saw how it happened when Nigeria played Lesotho, Benin Republic some months back.
