BREAKING: Burna Boy And Wizkid Nominated For #2022Grammy—-The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Made Kuti, and Burna Boy have been nominated for the 2022 Grammys.
TGM gathered that the Recording Academy revealed the nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards in a live stream on Tuesday.
Wizkid was nominated in the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ category for ‘Essence’, his collaborative song with Tems. Also nominated in the category is ‘Pa Pa Pa’ by Femi Kuti and ‘Do Yourself’ by Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy.
Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album and ‘Legacy +’ by Femi and Made Kuti were put up in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category.
The 2022 Grammys’ main event will air on January 31, 2022, at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on the CBS Television Network.
