The security chiefs have in the past weeks extensively engaged insurgents, bandits and their ilk, leading to massive surrendering.
The parley is to speed up developments and activate a decisive end to the problem.
This comes, as the Nigerian Army said no fewer than 1,000 Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) members had laid down their arms.
