#KamalaHarris: ‘Kamala Harris Will Be US President In 2024‘ – Gopalan Balanchandran—The maternal uncle of Vice president elect, Kamala Harris has said that he is confident that his sister’s daughter will make India proud by being president in 2024.
Based in New Delhi, Gopalan Balanchandran said he was very proud of his niece though her victory in the election did not come as a surprise to him.
Referring to her as ‘a fighter’ , he said his late sister would have been proud of her daughter.
56 years old Kamala Harris is of Indian origin and has become the first-ever woman vice president-elect of the US. She will also be the first Indian-origin, first Black and first African American vice president of the country.
“If you go by historical roots, in 2024 she will be the first Afro-American, Asian-American President of the US” , he said.
