Why I Have Been Silent On #SARSMUSTEND Protest, Burna Boy—-Since the onset of the #EndSARS protest in Nigeria, many celebrities, musicians have added their voices to that of the masses to call for an end to police brutality on citizens.
Some Nigerians have taken to social media to blast Buena Boy for keeping silent all through, with some even refusing to play his song on the protest ground.
Reacting, the singer revealed that he has been dealing with a personal problem, which kept him off the protest for some time.
According to him, his mother had surgery last week, so he had to focus his attention on her health.
He Said:
“I was Dealing with a Personal Family issue at the Beginning of these Protests . My mum Had Serious Surgery last week! We were all invested in making sure she recovers! i am not about that “put it all out on social media” life.We decided the focus must solely be on this protest.
