BREAKING: INEC Hands Gov. Obaseki And His Deputy Certificate Of Return – #EdoDecides2020—The National Commissioner of INEC in charge of Edo, Rivers, and Bayelsa state, Mrs. May Agbmuche-Mbu presented the certificate of return to Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and his Deputy, Phillip Shaibu on Tuesday.
Agbmuche made this presentation at the INEC office in Aduwawa, Benin Cityand commended all stakeholdersand the security agencies for their role in the smooth conduct of the governorship poll.
While handing over the certificate to the re-elected Governor, she said:
“I hereby certify that Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been elected to the office of governor of Edo State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the election held on the 19th of September 2020.”
