Governor Zulum, number one citizen of Borno state has approved N202.6 Million for payment of outstanding allowances to serving and outgone members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the state.

The payment was the accumulation of the monthly allowances due to corps members serving in Borno. The state pays N10,000 each to regular corps members while medical corps doctors and paramedics are entitled to N100,000 and N50,000 respectively.

The release of the money was confirmed by the Borno NYSC desk officer, Christopher Godwin-Akaba to the newsmen on Saturday.
