In order to prove Nigerian media and some social media enthusiast wrong, Saudi Arabian based Al-Nassr striker and Nigerian Super Eagles talisman, Ahmed Musa has undergone coronavirus test, days after he was accused of having the virus.
Super Eagles Captain was accused by the Nigerian media of being infected with the virus after he returned from Saudi Arabia and checked himself into self-isolation from family and friends.
To prove his status on the virus, the player took a test which he shared details on his instagram page. He was seen with a health worker, taking samples from his mouth for testing purposes.
He wrote;
I just want to use this medium to thank every one of you my friends and family for your prayers and message of support throughout my process of self-isolation.
Its been a humbling experience and I implore you all to continue to practice the advised social distancing guidelines by the government & the @ncdcgov.
Together we can beat this virus and return to our normal lives. Thanks once again. I appreciate you all
