New Zealand and Denmark are only two countries in the world with two official national anthems of equal status.

England has no official national anthem of its own; but a song titled: “God Save the Queen” was later adopted in 1745 and treated as the English national anthem. Most British colonies soon began using that song as their national anthems till they got independence.

The oldest anthem in the world is “Het Wilhelmus”, the anthem of the Netherlands, written in the 16th century.
