Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday ran over 6km at the 2020 Lagos City Marathon.

His chief press secretary, Gboyega Akosile, confirmed it in a tweet, saying: “Fit for Lagos. Governor @jidesanwoolu completed over 6km run as he led the 2020 Lagos marathon #RunLagos this morning. #ForAGreaterLagos.”

The 42km race commenced from National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, while the 10km race began from Ikoyi Link Bridge by 10 am. Both races finished at Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.
