The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The court led by Chief Justice of Nigeria Tanko Muhammad dismissed the petition moments after it began hearing the appeal.
The Presidential Election Tribunal had last month dismissed Atiku and PDP’s petition, prompting them to appeal to the Supreme Court.
