There was a fire incident at Transcorp Building at No 38, Glover Road Ikoyi, Lagos State, on Saturday.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), responding to the incident after being alerted by a Twitter user via its handle @followlastma, said, “This incident is now affecting traffic situation on Alfred Rewane. Our officers are on ground to manage the traffic situation.”
It further said: “Current information is that the fire has been put out, while the entrance into Glover Road has been cordoned off for now. Traffic on Alfred Rewane is moving much better now, though slow at alternation points.”
