The Apata Ibadan depot of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was Wednesday gutted by fire.
It was learnt that the fire incident occured at the loading section of the depot.
Sources at the Ibadan NNPC depot said the fire incident caused traffic gridlock for motorists plying the area especially the Benbo- Govt College area, as well as the Apata-Abeokuta road.

Men of the Oyo state Fire Brigade were said to have spent lots of time in battling to put off the fire.

However, as at the time filling this report, no official statement from the Ibadan depot of the NNPC on the casualty has been made.
