Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced a shift in date for governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa States.

The commission on Thursday announced that the elections earlier scheduled for November 2 would now be held on November 16.

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, had earlier called on INEC to shift the date.
