There have been some reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC results interpreter in sign languages for the 2019 election, Peter Oyekale, has been stabbed by unknown assailants.

Peter according to reports, is lying in critical condition in a hospital.

The sad news is reaching me that one of the top Interpreters in the Deaf Community: Mr. Peter Oyekale was stabbed and now lies in Critical Condition.
Mr. Peter Oyekale was the official INEC Sign Language interpreter during the 2019 Presidential Election Collation results. What caused the stabbing and its reason remains unknown yet.
