Dino Melaye, the Senator representing Kogi West, has raised the alarm over an alleged plan by the Kogi State Government to “attack” him.
Melaye alleged that the Kogi Government was plotting to attack him on 8th or 9th of this month.
The Senator made the allegation on Saturday evening through his official Twitter handle.
He wrote: “Kogi State Govt planning to Attack me on the 8th or 9th of this month.
“You will fail as always. God is my defence at all times. Nigerians take note.”
Recall that Melaye emerged winner of the last Saturday’s National Assembly election for Kogi West Senatorial District Conducted in the State.
The Senator who is flying the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated his close rival, Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He polled a total of 85, 395 votes to defeat his APC opponent who scored 66, 902 votes.
