As the political terrain in the country heats up with campaign activities, various party candidates from different political parties jostle for victory into elective positions.
Amuwo Odofin was not left out as one of the foremost and proactive political platforms, the Consolidation Group (TCG) intensified its campaign outreach activities to garner support for the APC candidates at the federal and state level.
The influential position Comrade Ayodele Adewale, founder of the Consolidation Group (TCG) has across various platforms and demographics has been observed by the APC party leaders who have given him several key positions within the Party structure. Comrade Ayodele, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA is also the Central Coordinator of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu footsoldiers in Amuwo Odofin LG/Oriade LCDA, he is the Special Adviser South West Directorate, Youth Mobilization, Buhari/Prof. Osibanjo Presidential Campaign Organisation for the re-election of President Muhamadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
He was recently appointed by the National Leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a member of the Lagos State election monitoring group which includes Mr. Tayo Ayinde (DG Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organisation), Chief Demola Seriki (former Minister of State for Defence), Alhaji Mutiu Are (Member Governors’ Advisory Committee Lagos State), Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Mrs. Jumoke Okoya Thomus (Lagos State APC Woman Leader), Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson (South West APC Woman Leader). Dr. Wale Ahmed (Lagos State APC Secretary), Comrade Kayode Opeifa, Alhaji Enilolobo Abdulai, Princess Adebowale amongst other prominent APC chieftains.
Leveraging on the goodwill he enjoys with the various artisan groups in Amuwo Odofin LG, Comrade Ayodele called, hosted and anchored a meeting at 7th Avenue, E close, Festac Town to garner support for Mrs. Mojisola Macaulay, APC House of Assembly candidate representing Amuwo Odofin constituency 1.
Present at the meeting were leaders of welders, vulcanizers, mechanics, hairdressers, furniture makers, cobblers, barbers, tie and dye, suya, spray painters, upholstery makers, car electronic workers, battery chargers, car wash service providers, car air condition service managers, refrigerators repairers, gas cookers and gas cylinders service providers and repairers association et al
Comrade Ayodele Adewale thanked the artisans for coming out en masse despite the short notice and enjoined them to throw their full weight behind the APC candidates and importantly Mrs Mojisola Macaulay ( who specially appealed that this meeting be called) in ensuring a landslide victory is recorded for her and the party.
He assured them that the APC still remains the only party that delivers the full dividend of true democracy to the people.
He also pleaded that the leaders go back to their members with a view of mobilizing them massively for the APC in the coming general elections.
Comrade Ayodele highlighted the achievements of the government at the center led by President Buhari noting the giant strides achieved so far.
He eulogised the gubernatorial candidate of APC in Lagos State, Mr Sanwo-Olu as having the requisite skills and experience to govern Lagosians; recognising his years of experience while serving the state at various capacities. He urged the artisans to go all out to exercise their franchise without any fear of attack.
Comrade Ayodele also informed the artisans that he is a member of a 20 man election monitoring and contact committee prepared by the APC national leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. He appealed to all seated to contact anyone of the members in case of any emergency during and after the elections.
Mrs. Mojisola Macaulay who recognised the artisans as an influential group with bulk votes assured them of constant feedback from every legislative duty in the state when elected.
She pledged to support and sponsor bills that will make their businesses thrive once given the opportunity.

The league of Imams and Ratibi’s also received Mrs. Mojisola Macaulay after the meeting was brokered by Comrade Ayodele Adewale where she laid out her plans for an all inclusive government affair when she secures victory for the APC.
She assured the religious leaders that the Islamic community in Amuwo Odofin LG will benefit from the dividends of democracy when elected into office.
She urged the leaders whom she recognised as being very influential within the community by virtue of their position as spiritual heads and their large congregation of followers to come together and give her the maximum support needed to clinch the Alausa seat in the coming election.
She emphasized the already existing synergy between herself and the Islamic community and allayed any fear of abandonment when she becomes a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The Imams poured encomium on Comrade Ayodele Adewale and advised Mrs. Mojisola to emulate the community values of the Comrade which has put him in the minds and good books of everyone in the local government. Prayers were offered for her protection and victory in the coming election.
