Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, has spoken out from his hiding days after the police laid siege to his Abuja residence.
Mr Melaye, in a New Year video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, wished Nigerians a happy new year, adding that his enemies be brought to shame in what appeared to be a prayer from the Psalms.
He wrote:

“Happy New Year fellow Country men and women. Wish us God’s speed on all sides this year. Amen,”
The controversial lawmaker is wanted by the police on allegations bordering on homicide.
The police have laid siege at the senator’s Abuja residence and have since warned that he must surrender.
