After stating that he intended to return to work in the near future, Arsene Wenger apparently already has a destination. According to France Football , the French coach is close to taking charge of Milan and would replace Gattuso, who would not be pleasing the investment fund managed by the Italian club.

The 69-year-old would take on a dual role on the Rossoneri’s team. In addition to being the commander in the field, he would assist the sports director Leonardo in hiring the team and in planning the club.

Arsene Wenger has been out of work since the middle of the year. After 22 seasons at Arsenal, the coach left the London team in which he won the English Championship in an undefeated way. He came to be speculated in teams like Fenerbahçe, PSG and some selections, including the German.

Milan currently occupy the fourth position of the Italian Championship, the last one that gives place in the Champions League, with 21 points, ten less than the leader Juventus. Under Gattuso, who has been in the team for almost a year, they are 25 wins, 12 draws and 11 losses in 48 games.
