A 10-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and impregnated by her elder brother has given birth to a baby boy.
The child, who cannot be named, welcomed her child via a caesarean section in a hospital in Florencia, Colombia. Both the little boy and his young mum are reportedly doing well.
The alleged rape happened in Puerto Leguizamo, Putumayo, where the girl lived with her parents. According to local media, the girl’s parents did not want to report their son to the local authorities.
